Multifunctional multilayers by high throughput deposition and nanoindentation screening

Objective 4

It is intended to use thin films combinatory techniques in order to generate blocks of films and coatings with constant variations of their composition. Hereafter, a screening of the liaison structure, the compositions and present phases shall be made. The multilayers amplitude will increase still further through generation of wide-ranging microstructures, for given compositions, through variations of parameters during the deposition process. Finally, mechanic performance of a wide variety of microstructures shall be characterised with the purpose of develop models processing-microestructure-properties.
